We were a small group this afternoon, only 7 of us. Several bags of scraps came in today and several ladies dived in to sort it. Two dog beds were filled and the rest was sorted by size so I can run them through my go-cutter.
El Santiago Rec center will be closed for maintenance May 31st,
so we won’t have a meeting next week..
Show and Tell:
Pat Pipa made 2 hex trivets
and 2 unstuffed toys.
and a set of microwave bowls.
Deb Chapman finished some trivets from last week
and made some mug rugs
Bev Minnerly turned in a stack of walker bags, a trivet and a women’s back pack.
Carolyn Grasso made a stuffed dog and a soft book.
Ceal Pedersen made a stack of trivets, including 2 smaller ones that are coaster size.
Ellen Hein showed some tote bags,
several flannel quilt tops
and a pillow she covered for her daughter-in-law.
+++++++++++++++
After show and tell we all sewed on
our current projects and chatted.
Our next meeting will be on June 7th. Ceal’s small hex coasters inspired me. I plan to bring the 5” squares to our next
meeting. Mic will also bring the Wrap N Zap for anyone making microwave bowls
and a bag of stuffing for any flat toys that show up. If anyone wants me to
bring anything else, let me know.
Hope to see you all on June 7th.
