No big announcements this week. The latest issue of the Florida Register is in and available at meetings.
Show and Tell:
Bev Minnerly showed her latest hand towel topper.
Eileen DiSanto showed a giraffe stuffed toy she completed from a pattern we worked on last year.
Nita Hand described the cancer patient caps we will be working on in a future meeting.
Pat Pipa finished her cat door hanger from last week and aa;so made some duffle bags and toiletry bags for the Sheriff's Youth Ranch.
B.J. Herter finished a quilt for the Ocala Shelter.
Ellen Hein made 2 pillowcases for the Sheriff's Youth Ranch.
Lu Karatzas showed a set of microwave bowl holders.
Mary Nazgiewicz showed 2 pillowcases she made.
Donna Rissman showed a hot pad she made from a different microwave bowl pattern (we think it should be made into a turtle), and a quilt top she made from a set of blicks I gave her last week.
Linda Parr showed a bunch of microwave bowl holders she made as gifts.
I concentrating on using a bunch of sturdy fabric that was donated and made 20 duffle bags, 11 for the Sheriff's Youth Ranch kids and 9 for the Ocala Shelter.
