There were 11 of us who came out today. There were no announcements. In addition to the 5” squares, I brought a box of small fabric pieces. I am going through the several boxes of scraps we have and pulling out any that look large enough to make a toy, pillowcase cuff, or zipper bag.
Show and Tell:
Ellen Hein showed six quilts from Khaki Quilters
and one that I made, that she finished the binding on.
She also showed five quilt tops that she handed in for me to quilt.
Eileen DiSanto showed 2 dinosaurs she made, waiting to be stuffed.
Ceal Pedersen showed her latest quilt.
For the rest of the afternoon we
each worked on whatever we wanted. A few ladies showed one of our newer
members, Lenora, how to make a pillowcase using the burrito method.
