There were 10 of us in today’s meeting. I brought the same supplies as last week, since these have been living in my car while we are meeting in Saddlebrook. This is our last meeting in Saddlebrook. We don’t have a room next week. The first week in May we should be back at El Santiago. I will double-check and let you know.. There were no other announcements today.
Show and Tell:
Louise Stem came with a set of 2 matching pillowcases
Eileen DiSanto made a cat needing stuffing.
Ceal Pedersen showed several baby quilts she made for the fall sale. I took photos of the front and back of each.
Carolyn Grasso sewed some squares for backpacks
Donna Bordian worked on a backpack during the afternoon and showed it to me before she left. This was her last meeting before heading back to Halifax. We hope to see her again in a year or 2..
We spent the rest of the afternoon stuffing toys, filling
dog beds with scraps, selecting fabric for our next projects, or sewing on our
own projects.
For anyone looking for something to do, we can always use
more zipper bags, walker bags, backpacks, and quilts tops of any size
See you in 2 weeks.
Lois
